The secret to lifelong success in alleviating symptoms or working through divorce amicably is commitment
Being willing and able to be open, honest, and genuinely work hard to do what it takes ensures rapid recovery or, in the case of divorce, a peaceful resolution. Whether you’re dealing with debilitating symptoms caused by trauma in your life, women’s health issues, OCD, PTSD, or need guidance while navigating divorce, you want your problems resolved quickly. It’s possible, and I can help.
Why Choose to Work With Me
You have the power within you to make the changes you need to make so you can live a more fulfilling and enjoyable life. I’m just here to help you discover that power. My evidenced-based therapy approach is designed to help you reach your goals quickly and effectively.
When you choose to partner with me as your online psychologist in California or Ontario, your therapy sessions aren’t meant to be just venting sessions. They are intended to be sessions in which you are received with warmth and empathy, and then together we work on methods, concepts, and strategies that will help you overcome your symptoms.
- straightforward
- compassionate
- experienced
- honest
- serious about getting you feeling better quickly or amicably settling divorce
My years of experience and dedication to helping men and women of all cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds lay a strong foundation for your success. I also understand that you need an ally in this wellness journey.
Dealing with past hurts, traumas, and mental health concerns that negatively impact your everyday life is genuinely challenging. But I’m here for you. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m prepared to help you.
What to Expect When Working With Me
Therapy with me isn’t meant to be a once-a-week venting session. Instead, it’s a safe place where you can get to work on your issues. You must be ready to commit to doing the work if you want things to change.
The work involved in my goal-oriented therapy sessions includes:
- assigned homework between sessions
- remaining engaged throughout each session
- only canceling (within 48 hours) under dire circumstances
Because I am a doctor of psychology, I utilize brain science, the most up-to-date evidence-based research findings, and continuous education to guide my therapy approach to treating what’s ailing you. While talk therapy is helpful, and we’ll certainly talk, getting down to business is what really counts.
Here’s what your therapy journey looks like with me:
Comprehensive Intake
During your initial intake assessment lasting approximately one hour and 40 minutes, we’ll review your past and current mental and physical health. This enables me to curate a treatment course explicitly tailored to your issues.
Six-week course of treatment (TEAM CBT)
Your treatment program is structured using the TEAM CBT Therapy method. This is an evidence-based approach made up of weekly six-week sessions. Throughout your treatment, you’ll attend goal-oriented therapy for 100 minutes each week. If you need more at the end of your initial six weeks, then we’ll schedule six more sessions until you reach your therapy goals.
Specifically designed weekly homework tailored to help you progress toward change
Therapy with me doesn’t end after each session. I’ll assign homework for you to complete in between each time we meet. This homework isn’t the same for everyone. Yours is customized specifically for you.
Measured success
Before and after every session, you’ll complete a brief survey to determine the efficacy of your experience. The testing use has been proven to have high validity and reliability. This allows you to evaluate each session based on several criteria and enables me to tailor the next session to have optimal effectiveness.
Future “check-ups”
You go to the doctor and dentist regularly to ensure you remain healthy. The same goes for therapy with me. Once you complete your goals, we’ll schedule six-month check-ups for the same reason. I don’t want to partner with you only through your current struggles. Rather, I aim to be your psychologist for life.

The TEAM CBT Therapy Approach
In my practice, I use the evidence-based therapy approach TEAM CBT created by renowned psychiatrist Dr. David Burns. Dr. David Burns’ bestselling book Feeling Good, The New Mood Therapy, has changed the course of effective psychotherapy treatment for the better.
After completing training in the TEAM CBT approach, I chose to name my practice as an ode to this incredible, groundbreaking development in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), hence the name Feeling Good Wellness Center.
TEAM CBT is the driving force that makes psychotherapy work. It picks up where talk therapy fails and allows you to achieve your therapeutic goals. TEAM CBT is an acronym for the foundation of this evidence-based therapy method.
Exposure Response Prevention in TEAM CBT
Another layer of TEAM CBT therapy is the implementation of Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) therapy when treating OCD and PTSD. This therapy approach is proven to be highly effective when treating these particular mental health concerns.
ERP can help you learn and master effective coping skills when something triggers you. Rather than giving in to a compulsive reaction, you’ll utilize the tools you gain through ERP therapy to face those triggers and respond in healthier ways.
Exposure Response Prevention can be incredibly challenging to implement for both the therapist and the client. This is because it gently and gradually exposes you to situations that trigger your OCD or PTSD symptoms in a safe environment.
I understand this may sound uncomfortable and scary, but I guarantee your safety and support throughout your ERP sessions with me. I have full extensive training and experience in ERP and have helped several clients successfully. We’ll get through your challenging PTSD or OCD symptoms together.
Who I Help
The only stipulation I have is that I don’t work with individuals under 16. Other than that, I can help you through proven-effective online therapy if you are in California or Ontario.
My specialties include the following:
- Women’s Health Issues: I help you face and overcome obstacles experienced or caused by perimenopause, post-menopause, depression, isolation, life transitions, physical changes, race and ethnicity-related trauma, sexual, verbal, and emotional trauma, chronic pain, and more.
- Divorce Therapy: While I do not provide marriage counseling for couples, I offer divorce therapy so that you can have a smooth, amicable divorce without collateral damage to children and each other.
- Trauma Therapy: Overcoming a traumatic experience in your life is something you shouldn’t do alone. I’ll help you process and heal from trauma and PTSD using TEAM CBT and ERP therapy methods.
Benefits of Online Evidence-Based Therapy
If you are hesitant about online therapy, don’t be. Several studies have shown it to be just as effective, if not more so, than in-person therapy. Not only is online therapy effective, but it’s also convenient.
You don’t have to spend time traveling to and from appointments, fighting traffic, and finding parking. Your time is valuable, and why waste it traveling to and from sessions? That time is better spent in therapy, developing the tools and skills to keep you safe throughout your lifetime.
